USA as a concept was born in July of 2001. At the time, I didn't have a domain to put the clique on and I certainly didn't have a way to draw all the states I needed for the venture. So, the idea went on the backburner. However, later I met Tara, who gave me outlines of all the states to help me with drawing them. I used MS Paint to start out planning them, and surprisingly a few weeks later I had enough money to buy Paint Shop Pro, so the clique was a sure thing at that point. We opened shortly after that.

USA is a site clique, yes, but I hope that someday it will be an entire community of connected members. People place a pixel state or a text link on their page representing where they are from, to be listed here so people from the same state can find people that possibly live near them.

This is the tenth version of USA. The clique has been through many changes during it's two year life, the most recent being the writing and addition of the Uncle Sam script to handle the members to make updating easier. One of our very own members wrote this script during his free time, specifically for the clique. Thank you, Karl. Feel free to send him monetary compensation.

This clique was inpsired by Oz Sites, and took on a life of it's own.
